Design by Lois Loewen
A 24"-tall weather vane built from a Walrus hardware kit and topped with a green frog. This happy little free-form amphibian is perched on his lily pad, nestled among cattails and leaves, keeping a lookout for his next meal. That watchful eye can either be painted on or fired in a mini-kiln. This project is constructed with copper foil, and 20-gauge copper wire is used around the outside edge. Tooling adds detail to the cattails.
