Design, Fabrication, and Text by Susan McGarry
A 2‑1/2" x 2‑1/2" fractal ornament and 3‑1/2" x 3‑1/2" small box top insert. The fractal designs, fascinating geometric figures of a never ending pattern, are made by combing glass noodles and rods that are selected by color and weight and used to fill a mold. They are then fused together to make a pattern bar. Slices are cut from the bar for the ornament and box top. Firing schedules for forming the bars are included.
