A freestanding Maltese cross fused garden flower created with 31/2" x 101/2" pieces of red streaky glass. The petals are nipped to the correct shape, assembled on the kiln shelf with the centers, and fused together, then slumped. To finish, a copper stem is created and attached to the flower.
