Cavity Casting

A 6" x 6" x 1" cavity casting made using a mold to create the central design. The casting is placed in the center of a box made from kiln dams, then surrounded and covered with frit and fired. The outside edges of the piece are cold worked to finish. Firing schedules are provided.
