A 10-1/2"x 11" vertical three-tiered lampshade fashioned after the Chinese paper lanterns that are so popular in Zen and contemporary decor. The vertical nature of this design is rather unique and requires reinforcement with metal rods or copper wire for stability. Floor or hanging lamps can be made by adding one or two more tiers. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique.
