Techniques for expanding the size of stained glass panels by adding borders. Small strips of glass are cut in varying widths and lengths and are alternated with lead pieces to form border designs used to make stained glass projects larger than the initial panel. U-channel zinc is used on the outer edge of the border to provide a good place for including panel hangers.
