A Halloween lantern created using four 5-1/2" x 7-3/4" stained glass panels. The four sides of the lantern form a house, with each side showing a different scene. Lines of solder are used to create a clapboard effect, and fused design elements including bats, jack-o’-lanterns, ghosts, doors, windows, and shutters complete the scene. The finishing touches are added using enamel paint, copper sheet, and copper wire. Copper foil and soldering techniques are used to assemble the fused project pieces to the house, and copper wire is wound and used to help the bats fly above the rooftop.
