An 11" x 17" free-form panel finished with painted details and wire overlay reinforcement. Iridescent glass provides interesting color variations and an ethereal quality, and copper wire is worked into the design for support. Mottled glass lends realism to the mushroom cap. Tips from the designer are shared for glass selection and for making the most efficient use of glass remnants by matching colors. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique.
