Nightlife

Design by Mark Waterbury
A 20" x 28" rectangular panel showing an owl perched on a snowy branch, silhouetted against a starry night sky. A quarter moon looks down on this peaceful scene. The stars twinkling in the steel-blue sky are created by drilling holes in the glass with a flexible shaft. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique. The pattern in the issue can be enlarged, or full-size pattern #114 may be purchased from Glass Patterns Quarterly.
