Flowering Vines

Design by Mark Waterbury
A 17" x 23-1/8" stained glass panel. The simple elegance of this project would fit into most any decor, and the colors can easily be changed as desired. The vines are made using wide solder lines enhanced with black patina. For a more personalized look, jewels could be added to the flower centers, or details could be added to the flowers and leaves using glass paint. The pattern in this issue can be enlarged, or full-sized pattern #140 may be purchased from Glass Patterns Quarterly. This project is constructed using the copper foil technique.
